Decal Installation Instructions Thank you for purchasing a vinyl decal from CarDecalWorld.com. The following instructions will make your application easier. Decal material is very thin; once off, it's backing and can be stretched out of shape very easily, resulting in lumps, bubbles, and creases. However, if you're patient, it is possible to get great results if you take the time to prepare the surfaces carefully. For best results avoid contamination by doing the installation indoors or on a calm day. We are unable to replace graphics that have been applied incorrectly. Step 1 Start with your custom decal or graphics kit available from CarDecalWorld.com. Kits include all the decals to make your car look like the picture model. Step 2 To ensure correct placement, use a water soluble pencil to draw marks where graphics are to be applied. You may choose to apply your decal in different areas than pictured. Don't be afraid to apply decals wherever you choose to make your vehicle one of a kind. Step 3 Make sure the area you are applying the decal to is very clean. Any wax or dirt may cause the decal to apply incorrectly resulting in peeling or non-sticking. Step 4 Tape decal in place horizontally with a strip of masking tape. Step 5 Use decal applicator squeegee working from the top to bottom, making sure that the decal does not shift while applying. When you squeegee, keep your strokes to a ½ inch up to 1 inch. Don't try and make long strokes. You may want to work on one half of the decal then the other. Working from top half to bottom half will give best results. HINT: Sometimes you will get a bubble in the vinyl that cannot easily be worked out. Instead of creating a crease, try using a pin to pop the bubble and then working it out with your finger. Step 6 After you are sure all adhesive areas have been applied, slowing and carefully remove the protective paper backing. Now step back and enjoy! Step 7 Repeat process for other decals.
